His consulting experience spreads over Project Financing, Organization Development, Executive Recruitment and Managing Family Businesses. He has conducted numerous training programs for middle and senior management cadres. Mr. Pravin Kalawar is a gold medalist and a first rank holder in Labour Welfare and Personnel Management from Pune University and a Law graduate from Mumbai University. He has 35 years of rich experience in organisations such as Philips, Roussel, Parke-Davis, Rhone Poulenc and Clariant India Ltd. (formerly known as Colour Chem). During his career span he focused on handling critical and sensitive situations like turnaround in employee relations, mass violence and unrest, organisation transformation, mergers and acquisitions. He worked extensively with sales, logistics, operations and production to add value to the organisation. He is passionate about human “potential” development, and emphasises his belief that the HR professional is a “missionary” and “conscience-keeper” of the organisation.
