SCHOTT India has been visiting the Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC) for their internship programme, for several years now and it has been an enriching experience. IGTC is one of the leading centres to offer highly motivated, skilled and a pool of talent to Indian Industry. We at SCHOTT find the approach of IGTC unique and extremely apt for us. The IGTC process of selecting its students in partnership with collaborating companies is a win-win for both IGTC and SCHOTT.
We are able to identify and select suitable candidates to match the projects that we envisage over the next 18 months. This gives the students an opportunity to work on live projects which are of topical interest to the company. SCHOTT has offered a platform to students to put in practice different concepts they have learnt at IGTC. The interns are mentored by experienced SCHOTT team members who share not only business skills but also enables the trainees to imbibe the organisational culture.
SCHOTT India has worked with IGTC interns in the areas of market research, market evaluation and market entry strategy and their contribution has been insightful and well researched. Their work has enabled us to take important decisions in the respective markets.
As IGTC celebrates its Silver Jubilee, SCHOTT India extends our heartiest congratulations to the Director, Mrs Radhieka Mehta, her team at IGTC as well as present and past students.
Thank you for giving us a chance to be a part of this wonderful journey. We hope to continue our association for the coming years as well.
